Luca Pianca - D'Italie et de France

Wednesday 11 July
18:30 - 19:30: Cathédrale

Luca Pianca (Suisse)

Co-founder of the famous ensemble Il Giardino Armonico, Luca Pianca is a musician venerated by his peers. He either performs as a soloist or works with some of the music world’s greatest (Harnoncourt, Bartoli or Sting). We are very fortunate to welcome the artist; his touch suffused with sensitivity and nuance will play a repertoire that will take us back to 17th-century Italy and France. This concert will be performed in an intimate corner of the Cathedral specifically chosen for this purpose, a place where Luca Pianca can comment on his instrument’s iconic “hum.”

Luca Pianca was awarded one of the Prix suisse de musique 2018.
