Beach Folk

Melissa Kassab’s first album “Dog” was released in spring 2017 to little fanfare. The globetrotting folk singer is signed by Cheptel Records - the anglophone exception in the francophone record label from Geneva. Her brand of folk is tainted with blues and melancholy, with vocal and guitar ballads that are simultaneously pure and fragile, as her smooth voice sometimes blends to birds’ chanting.
