Fabrizio Chiovetta (Suisse)
No, Glenn Gould did not settle the score; successfully interpreting J.S. Bach’s piano pieces is still an interminable quest for many modern-day pianists. Far from the clamor of present-day interpretations, Fabrizio Chiovetta’s subtle and refined touch surreptitiously serves the musical text. Three exceptionally intense works, all composed in B minor (Alban Berg’s Piano Sonata, Bach’s Overture in the French Style and a Bach Choral), will unfold and be performed in succession.
