La Nòvia's performance of In C by Terry Riley on La Châtelaine is cancelled due to bad weather. We apologise for the inconvienence.
About a dozen passionate members make up La Nòvia. Together, they explore contemporary music using traditional instruments such as the hurdy-gurdy, the psalterium, the chabrette and the musette Béchonnet. The ensemble accompanies the audience in rediscovering the continuum of heady and vibrant repetitions found in Terry Riley’s “In C,” fifty-five years after its composition.
